Cosmetic & Restorative Dentist · Educator · Founder of The Dental Gym. Course director of the Mastering Anterior Composites ortho-restorative finishing course in London on 28th November 2026.

Dr Sam Cope is a cosmetic and restorative dentist working on 66 Harley Street at the Marylebone Smile Clinic, London, with a particular focus on minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry, anterior composites, orthodontic-restorative treatment and ceramic veneers.
Sam has been involved in dental education and teaching for several years, teaching dentists at different stages of their careers and helping clinicians translate theory into practical, repeatable skills they can use confidently in practice.
Before dentistry, Sam trained and worked as a physiotherapist, which shaped his approach to learning: understanding the theory is important, but developing a skill requires practice, repetition, feedback and continued support.
That philosophy is at the heart of The Dental Gym.
Sam founded The Dental Gym because he believes the way we deliver dental education needs to change. Too often, clinicians attend a course, learn a huge amount in a single day and then return to practice without the continued support needed to implement it.
The Dental Gym Professional is designed to change that. Rather than education ending when the course finishes, the platform combines online learning, practical training, clinical videos, protocols, case discussions and ongoing support to help dentists continue developing their skills long after the course day.
Sam's ambition is to help change the way our industry approaches dental education, moving away from isolated courses and towards continuous, practical and clinically relevant learning.
